Nintendo Switch 2: What We Know So Far

The Nintendo Switch 2, as it has been tentatively named by the gaming community, is the next console we can expect from Nintendo. Although there are very few details about the console currently available, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa confirmed its existence back in May.

Recent Leaks and Rumors

The gaming community is eagerly awaiting more information about the console. Recently, industry insider Paul Gale announced on Twitter that he had received some insider info regarding a new video game console. Given Gale’s love for Nintendo, many assumed this console is the Switch 2.

Gale stated, “I cannot verify this firsthand, but something huge just came my way. Supposedly, quite recently, a trailer-like commercial was filmed to promote a certain next-generation console. If this is indeed the case, I think we are one-six weeks away from a reveal.”

Additional Insights

NateTheHate, a well-known and often accurate leaker, also posted on ResetEra’s forums about similar information. Nate mentioned, “Have a feeling this is the same thing I was sent a month ago but the info is very, very difficult to verify. There was one bit of information that I’ve been waiting to see if it appears in a game trailer, as it would help verify the information further; but the game in question has not had a new trailer released, yet.”

For now, it’s best to take these rumors with a grain of salt, as all gaming leaks and rumors should be. However, the next few weeks will hopefully shed more light on the Nintendo Switch 2.
