Exclusive Look at Samsung Galaxy A16 5G Design
We’re bringing you an exclusive preview of the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G design. This entry-level smartphone is extremely popular, with Samsung continuously improving its offerings.
Design Features
The Galaxy A16 5G has a unique design along its right side. The area around the power/lock and volume rocker buttons is wider, which is an interesting approach by Samsung. The phone’s side gradually rises towards the buttons. Additionally, the power/lock button doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The sides of the phone are flat, except for the bulge on the right side.
Display and Camera
The Galaxy A16 5G features a flat display with a waterdrop notch at the top, housing the front-facing camera. There is a noticeable ‘chin’ below the display, thicker than the bezels on the other sides. On the back, you’ll find three vertically aligned cameras in the top-left corner, each protruding from the backplate, accompanied by an LED flash. Samsung’s branding is also visible on the back.
Build and Specifications
Based on the design of its predecessor, the Galaxy A15, the Galaxy A16 is expected to be made of plastic, including both the frame and backplate. The phone has appeared on Geekbench with two different SoCs: the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and the Exynos 1330. Both variants may launch, each with 4 GB of RAM. There’s also a possibility of a 4G model. The Galaxy A16 5G will include a 5,000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting use.
