Aston Martin Unveils the New Vanquish at Venice International Film Festival
Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings Plc has launched the Vanquish, a new car that will top their lineup in terms of price, power, and prestige. The grand unveiling took place at the iconic Venetian Lagoon during the Venice International Film Festival.
The Return of a Legend
The two-seat coupe marks the comeback of the Vanquish nameplate, which Aston Martin has used sporadically since 2001. The most recent Vanquish models ended production in 2018, making this launch a significant moment for the brand.
Power and Performance
Under the hood, the new Vanquish boasts a 5.2-liter, twin-turbo V-12 engine. This powerhouse produces an impressive 835PS (823 horsepower) and 1000Nm (737 pound-feet) of torque. This shows that even at 111 years old, Aston Martin hasn’t forsaken internal combustion, despite the industry trend toward downsized engines and the transition to hybrid and electric vehicles.
